ITMS had its origins as a subsidiary of the ITM Group of Companies which at the time was owned and established by the National Australia Bank Ltd.

Since its divestment from the National Australia Bank 21 years ago the then management of the Company opted to purchase the organisation from its then new owners which were the Pengelleys of New Zealand.

The Management of the Company at the time consisted of primarily Ian Grover, a banker with 44 years of banking experience who was the Chief Executive Officer of the ITM Group of Companies. Ian was a top line Manager at the bank and by virtue of his position at the bank headed the ITM group of Companies. He was joined by Adrian Chinivasagam who brought with him 32 years of experience in the Commodity Trading, Shipping, Product Development and Marketing fields and who at the time was the head of the division.

In 2005 when the business was transferred to Queensland Mr Ian Grover retired from active service. Sadly in late 2008 Mr Adrian Chinivasagam attracted a severe illness and subsequently passed away. Adrian’s wife Devi Chinivasagam has successfully taken over as the CEO of ITMS.

Since its divestment ITMS, has continued to strengthen and grow its position through strategic partnerships and passive investments in the Food Processing Industry in South East Asia with specific emphasis to geographical locations such as India and Sri Lanka.

The core product line that the organization has focussed on is Processed Vegetables. The Company is also involved in the Animal Feed Industry as a supplier of Raw materials to the Feed Industry across Asia and also imports Coco peat and fertilisers from India and China.

Through the strategic partnerships and associations, ITMS has been successful in developing and delivering products within these segments to Market’s in Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

In order to protect the independence and integrity of its operation and to ensure accountability, ITMS conducts all its Food Safety and Quality assurance programs using outsourced resources. The resource used in this sphere is a back up to in house teams employed by the organizations. All plants selected and or utilised are plants that have obtained internationally accredited QA programs.
